Isn't it still supposed to be autumn? Haha, I guess I've gotten used to Somarium's more predictable weather. Back home it wasn't that unusual for the weather to randomly change, just like night and day could last several hours or even a few minutes. Weird how someone can adjust after a while, huh?

[and flicking the leaf away.]

Hm, oh yeah. Usually people announce when someone leaves, right? If anyone knew Alice—the older one—she left a few days ago. I guess she was lucky and missed the sudden winter. [there's a small chuckle there.]

No! That's definitely not an option!

It's possible that whoever you get close to, may leave, and it will hurt. But I think you would miss out a lot if you didn't let people get close to you. I think doing that would hurt you even more than the pain of someone leaving Somarium.

Yes, I do. People are wonderful. I don't think I could live without getting close to someone.

And some of them have already left Somarium,too. But maybe one day we will meet again.

Other worlds that pull people at random? You think so? [Tilts head to the side, considering this.] If it's anything like here, than I'll be willing to go. But maybe it doesn't have to be a different world, maybe they will come back here.

Maybe! After all, my world pulled in outsiders every now and then. I guess it's not really that impossible. And you experienced your own other world traveling before.

Maybe one day you'll show up in mine or I in yours.

Show up in your world? That would be interesting. [Smiles, getting really excited about that possibility.] Then maybe one day it will happen.

But I haven't heard a lot about Ace's world.

Violent? Cephiro was pretty violent as well, but that was during a bad time. I'm sure it's not like that now.

And even if Ace's world is violent, I would like to hear about it. I want to know where you come.

There's a bit of a war going on between the three territories, but that's not what makes it violent. [a light chuckle.] So okay, I'll tell you a bit about it. What would you like to know about first?

Well...where do you live in your world? Are you in one of the three territories?

I am! I'm in the Castle of Hearts. The other two are the Amusement Park and the Hatter Family, which is basically the mafia.

What is the Castle of Hearts like?

Yeah. They're pretty violent, too. Well all of them are, really.

The Castle of Hearts is ruled by Her Majesty Vivaldi and I guess it's a pretty standard place. Though it has a lot of heart themed decor, which might be why it's called that. It's pretty huge, too—I always end up getting lost in there.

Then it must be huge if you can get lost in it. But it sounds like an interesting place.Is that why you wear red, Ace? And what is Queen Vivaldi like? Is she a kind ruler?

Yeah it's pretty big, and it is the reason why I wear red, haha. I have a few heart patterns, too.

But as for Her Majesty...[heh.] "Kind" would be the last word I would use.

And Queen Vivaldi isn't kind? Well, then how would you describe her?

And Vivaldi didn't sound so bad, until Ace mentions she executes people.]

And that's terrible! Executing people? That's wrong. Why doesn't anyone stop her?

It's part of the rules. Besides, the servants are expendable—even if it does cause problems when we run out before they return.

But that's how she lets out her temper. Only the Roleholders are exempted.

The rules? [Hikaru couldn't understand how that could be acceptable. It was so wrong.]

And why are there rules like that? Hasn't anyone tried to revolt?

Haha, that's impossible. Unless you want to die or something. [smile.] You can get arrested for breaking the rules—though usually it's just straight to death.

[and his smiles darkens a bit.]

Honestly, I hate it. I even tried breaking the rules myself by working outside of my Role, but nothing ever happens.
