Perhaps someone who's been here longer might be able to answer, but—[holds up the Dreamberry to show the giant rip in the barrier where the yeti had entered through, the edges all scorched and frayed as the magic glyphs that normally stayed invisible flickered in and out around it. sparks could be seen emitting from the spot.]—is this supposed to be normal?

I always assumed the barrier fixed itself, but I think it's having a little difficulty.

You know...I'm not sure. [still looking at the tear thoughtfully.] I haven't seen anything yet.

But if they do, I can help take care of them. [he looks a little too eager about that.]

His cottage is near where the yeti arrived. He can't really defend for himself very well, so if a monster does appear, he wouldn't stand much of a chance.

Haha, it's okay. I'll just have to find him some place that he won't mind. [sigh.] He just likes to keep to himself. He really does need to get out more often.

But that's what he prefers. Who am I to make him do what he doesn't want to do? [but he does it anyway because he's just a great BFF that way.]

Though maybe living in the village might help him adjust a little. It's relatively quiet over there in comparison to the city.
