[in a random field somewhere, a thick blanket of leaves and small piles around him. there's a smaller cleared area where his little campsite was, and he's standing in front of a half dismantled tent, having stopped in the middle of the process to make this broadcast]

It's amazing how many leaves have accumulated over the week. It does make camping out a bit more difficult.

But I realized something as I was setting up my campfire last night. Don't all these dry leaves create a rather dangerous fire hazard? I mean, everything is practically covered with them.

Haha, of course I kept my fire contained, but it did make me wonder since it could be rather dangerous, especially if there were any pyromaniacs around. [a pause before he gives a laugh] Whoops, hope I didn't give anyone any ideas! [he actually does not care if he did]

Maybe we should try shoving all these leaves out the barrier and into the desert.

Somehow I doubt anyone's going to make the effort to shove all the leaves out.

Probably not, but I wouldn't so surprised if the local people did. They all seem more than happy to do whatever we wish.

Why not just toss them all into a huge pile and let everyone hang out? We could have, like, a massive picnic. Instead of setting fire to everything.

Haha, I wasn't suggesting we burn them, only noticing how dangerous it could be. But a large-scale picnic, hm? That could be fun.

Exactly. Everyone loves picnics, right? And it's still pretty nice weather for it.

Hmm, I suppose so. Though it would still be quite an effort to clear all the leaves out. It took me almost half an hour just to clear this space for my campsite, haha!

No kidding. Well, if we got everyone who was attending to bring food and help out a bit, it wouldn't take long at all.

Oh I already have one of those. Sometimes I just wander around for so long it's too late to head back, so it's simpler to just camp out. [read: lost.]
