dream ✠ 001
At first there is nothing. Everything is dark; pitch black. This lasts for a few seconds before there is a soft ticking sound like a small watch. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. It grows louder with every passing tick, and more and more clocks join in until there is a multitude of them. It becomes too overwhelming -- a deafening crescendo of time. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. TICK. TOCK. A black shadow. A cloaked figure. A flash of a sword. TICK-- A loud crash before the screen explodes with the image of hundreds of clock pieces -- gears, hands, numbers, glass, metal, plastic, everything. The pieces shower down, glistening in the light. The glass fragments catch the reflections of black shadows that lurk somewhere within the darkness. Some show blank, eyeless faces with only their mouths and noses could be seen, the hair covering everything else. And then they are gone, the last bits and pieces falling into the dark abyss. [filter: private || 100% unhackable] But there is one piece that falls last. The tip of an hour hand. In its reflection is a face with a broken mask. It is blurred, but what can be seen from the uncovered half is the dull, empty red eye of the owner staring out into nothing. It is blank, unfeeling. Until the eye changes into the face of a clock, slowly zooming in until it covers the screen. |

Hm...so this is how the dreams work here. [doesn't sound that perturbed considering the dream he just had]

I do hope that you realize that you're without a job here.
[ And it's threatening, this dream, because he's promised Elliot destruction, but what about him damnit ]
no subject
get used to this, Blood.just smiles like usual]Oh I know, but some things are hard to leave behind.
no subject
I wasn't aware that you enjoyed your profession.
no subject
I don't.
no subject
Then surely you'd enjoy this hiatus and not think about it?
no subject
I know I would, but it may take a little longer than I expected.
no subject
And why is that?
no subject
You still have your clock, don't you, Blood?
no subject
...Why do you ask that?
no subject
I might feel better if it wasn't there anymore.
no subject
And why's that?
no subject
I'm not quite sure, but I have this feeling I'll have completed my job once all of the clocks have been taken care of.
no subject
Then I wish you luck, Knight.

[ And Click 8| ]
no subject
You... getting a little homesick there, Ace?
no subject
Not at all. I'm not quite sure why that was in my dream, really. [actually he has a hunch but of course he's not going to say anything yet :D]
no subject
... this will not bode well. Have a flimsy attempt to deter the psycho knight from skewering the kitty.]
I'm sure it's just a passing fancy! Just a little whim of yours. Yeah, nothing to think about too hard.
no subject
Boris, you still have your clock, don't you?

[ooc: ffft. putting up an open log with Boris later. Ace is free to chase him down then~]
no subject
[ooc: oh you know we'll be there 8D]
no subject
That was a pretty scary dream.
no subject
Hmm, you think so?
no subject
Well I think it was. You didn't?
no subject
I'm rather used to it, so I don't really have any kind of emotional attachment. [small pause] Well, perhaps one.
no subject

[smilesmile]
Do you own a watch or a clock?
no subject
Nope! We don't use those back home.
no subject
[smilesmile
BE GRATEFUL TY.]That's somewhat of a relief. I won't have to find you, then.
no subject
... Ace?
no subject
Yes, Alice?
[he knows fully well that she saw the dream, but he doesn't seem bothered by it. probably because he had already shown her what happened back home >_>]
no subject
-It was rather bizarre. Are you okay?
no subject
[smiles]
Are you worried about me, Alice?
no subject
Of course I am! It's normal to be worried about someone, Ace.
no subject
No one's ever really worried about me before. Except perhaps Julius.
no subject
... I really don't get the norms of that world. You sound like you miss him.
no subject
Miss him? [small pause] I suppose I do. He is my friend after all.
no subject
... I didn't know you guys made friends.
no subject
no subject
*a reluctant pause* Hey, Elliot called Julius "Mortician" if that involved with your work somehow?
no subject
However, I suppose I can say that it is related.
no subject
But a "Mortician" ... not a very pleasant nickname is it?
